Strategies to mitigate targeted electronic intrusions
The Defence Signals Directorate developed a list of 35 Strategies to mitigate Targeted Cyber Intrusions, which CERT Australia distributes to industry stakeholders as part of our role.
At least 70 per cent of the targeted cyber intrusions that the Defence Signals Directorate responded to in 2009 could have been prevented if organisations had implemented the first four mitigation strategies listed in this paper.
