Information sharing

One of CERT Australia’s key capabilities is sharing trusted and authoritative information and advice to support businesses and government.

These organisations can then better safeguard themselves against threats, respond more effectively to cyber security incidents and learn from the experience of others.

Collective strength makes Australia a less attractive target.

We share information in a number of ways:

  • hosting national, regional and sector specific events where we share unique and sensitive information with businesses
  • providing one-on-one briefings to businesses about the current cyber threat environment and specific alerts if their industry is being targeted
  • presenting at business events on protecting your network, cyber threats and innovation in the cyber security space
  • encouraging peer-to-peer information sharing between CI and SNIs
  • publishing alerts on our website and through Stay Smart Online to help all businesses remain resilient.
